On Wednesday, May 11 join representatives from Conservation Northwest, Washington Trails Association, and the Friends of the Columbia Highlands for a multimedia exploration of the wildlife, landscapes, and culture of the Columbia Highlands.
“The Columbia Highlands: Washington’s Last Wilderness Frontier” explores a special place where the West’s frontier heritage of wild and working landscapes lives on, where traditional livelihoods, native wildlife, and amazing recreation opportunities still co-exist. After the screening, learn about opportunities to get out on the Colville National Forest to hike and explore wildlands, give something back on trail building and clearing projects, and join efforts to protect this amazing region for future generations.
Free, but space is limited; register early!
